Handy-Man

Wouldn't you love to have your very own handy-man? Someone who could work on projects and fix things around the house while your husband is away at work?
Well, I have one!

And did I mention he's adorable? Actually, I find it difficult to get anything done around the house when he's working. I just sit and stare...and take pictures when he's not looking. ;)

Lake Dardanelle State Park

While Jacob is in Colorado with his Dad, Owen and I are spending time in the River Valley. Today my dad and I took Owen to the Lake Dardanelle State Park. They have a beautiful visitor center with some really neat exhibits. Of course, he loved the fish. That fish is huge!

Owen also enjoyed watching the turtles.
He even reached in the water; the rocks on the bottom of their home were pretty appealing.

Water Boy

Owen likes to help me with my flower bed. He really loves to use the water hose. On this particular day, he had filled a hole left by a plant I had removed with water. As you can see, he fell into the hole...face first. He looks a little stunned, doesn't he? Silly boy.

Gone Fishing

Owen loves to look at fish. He especially loves to look at all the fishes in the tanks at Wal Mart. As soon as he sees the store he starts saying, "Fish, fish, fish..." He's even been known to postpone a trip to see Papa and Meme to gaze at these shimmering beauties. I'm glad he likes fish-it's probably the only pet I'll ever consider letting him have!

CAKE!!!

Katy wanted you to know that the favorite part of her day was watching Owen beg for CAKE!!! It started at the store where he smacked his lips and ended with eating the much anticipated dessert. I confess that we fed him more just to hear another "Cake, pla-eese".
