Jacob and I decided it was time for Owen to start helping out around the house. We thought mowing the lawn would be a good job for an 18-month old. The only problem we've encountered is he can't reach the run switch, so the grass isn't getting any shorter. Notice his dirty little feet. We're trying to raise a tough, Southern boy (who will be thankful he gets to wear shoes when he's actually old enough to mow the lawn).

I'm telling you guys, those mowers are evil.
Our kids very rarely wear shoes when they're outside. It drives Brent's mom crazy!
Next time start the engine. Get your yard mowed!
