Jake and Owen were thrilled to see each other-they are too funny! We sure do miss having the Steelman's a few miles away, but it makes me happy to know we can pick up right where we left off and still be a part of each other's lives even though we are further away now.
Seeing those boys grab hands and race to the zoo entrance made me smile so big-they are best buddies! And there's beautiful Avery in her car seat-she was a trooper all day!
Owen admired the alligators.
I would definitely not want to go swimming with one of those-yikes!
The penguins were too cute!They would swim right up to the glass and interact with all their spectators.

Olivia was a big fan of the penguins, too. However, her favorite animals were the gorillas and chimpanzees. She would wave and giggle at them. I told her she liked them the best because she could relate-she is definitely a little monkey these days!We may have to drag Jacob to the zoo before our membership expires-the penguins are certainly worth a trip!

How fun! We are lovin' the Penguins too. When y'all get down here again, you're now formally obligated to call us! Pukin' or not, i wanna see ya. We've got a fenced in backyard for the kids to be crazy in, and we also have a zoo pass in case they're in the mood to be around "their own kind." =)
We were there on Thursday with Naia's class! They loved the penquins as well. The lion also gave us an awesome show. I'll try ot post the video later this week!
