Owen Meets Carson

My sister-in-laws' sister, Bethany, had a baby a few weeks ago. We're technically not related, but definitely family-does that make sense? Anyway, Owen's Auntie Ams really wanted a picture of her two nephews together, so we stopped by for a visit a week ago. Owen was fascinated by Carson's tiny little body. He even tried to twist off his sweet little toes. The picture below is me attempting to defend this precious sleeping baby. Carson was a trooper and slept through the entire assault. ;)

Here Owen is squeezing Carson's leg-his skinny little leg. Goodness, gracious! I have a wild child. It is amazing to think that Owen was this size when he was born. He and Carson had the exact same measurements: 7 pounds, 1 ounce and 21.5 inches long. Isn't that funny?

So, Auntie Ams, this post is especially for you. And it proves that Owen was a little overly enthusiastic about meeting baby Carson-regardless of what your sweet sister told you! We love you and think your new nephew is precious!
